To whom it may concern,
I am a echo technician in England, certified by the British Society of Echocardiography. I am thinking of the possibilties of emigrating to Canada. Does the Canadian society of echocardiography regonise ceretification by the Bristish society of echocardiography? thus making it possible to apply for Jobs in Canada.

Canadian Society of Echocardiography does not oversee the registration of sonographers in Canada. Each province has its own requirements for practice as a sonographer. At this moment most of the sonographers in Canada take the ARDMS examination. There is a new Canadian sonographer exam in the planning stage. Please see the following link for more details:
