ECHO TECHNICIAN

We are a cardiac testing facility in Oakville looking to hire a part-time cardiac ultrasound technician to perform echoes and stress echoes.

Qualifications:

-Registered technologist
-Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
-Analytical skills
-Ability to work independently
-Strong computer skills

Duties:

You will greet the patient, explain the forthcoming test, position the patient and generally prepare the patient for the examination.
You will operate the equipment ensuring patient safety and producing the best possible images for proper diagnosis.
You are expected to further your knowledge and competence by reading, attending courses and conferences and obtaining CME credits.
You will at all times comport yourself in a professional and competent manner.
