OBJECTIVE: Cardiac Sonographer
SUMMARY: ARDMS Certified (RDCS). A dedicated professional with 15 years of experience in echocardiography is seeking a position as a Cardiac Sonographer with a wide direct exposure to ultrasound imaging. Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology and pediatric surgical procedures. Working experience with the following tips of the ultrasound systems: GE Vivid i, GE Vivid 7, HP 5500, ATL 5000, ATL 3000 and Ultramarc 9. Studies included real-time imaging( 2-D, M-mode), Pulsed Doppler, CW Doppler, colour Doppler, Stress-Echo and TEE. Experience with both Analog and Digital Recording. Familiar with the following software packages: PACS, Meditech, Prosolve. Provided patients with pertinent information necessary to ensure cooperation throughout ultrasound examination, such as information about types and length of the procedures. Obtained patient demographics and performed data entry as required. Set panel controls using various control manipulations to ensure provision of optimal diagnostic image clarity. Performed diagnostic ultrasound examination in accordance with established standards and protocols. Completed clear and accurate technical reports. Effective communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and exercise independent judgement. Ability to assess requests and prioritize them to ensure excellent and prompt patient care. Ability to adapt standard work procedures to emergency situations. Ability to treat patients with kindness, dignity and respect.
