Electrodiagnostics - SAINT JOHN REGIONAL HOSPITAL
HOURS OF WORK: days,
SALARY: $19.87 - $25.03 per hour
JOB PURPOSE: To scan by ultrasound various portions of the heart to assist medical practitioners in the detection and diagnosis of diseases and injuries, to develop and process films, and to record and perform related duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Successful completion of Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists course and/or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography course with active registration.

-Sound knowledge of anatomy and principles of ultrasound.

-Physically able to perform assigned duties.

-Good previous work and attendance record.

-Ability to communicate effectively and pleasantly with patients, families, staff, physicians and the general public.

-High regard for confidentiality and advocacy for patients

-Intermediate certification in French

- Bilingual: Required
