Hawaii Heart 2012: Case-Based Clinical Decision Making Using Echocardiography and Multimodality Imaging

January 16 - 20, 2012 . Mauna Lani Hotel & Bungalows, Big Island, Hawaii
Held by Mayo Clinic, the first annual Hawaii Heart course will review the technical issues of echocardiography as well as CT, MRI, PET and nuclear imaging as they pertain to cardiovascular disorders. An expert faculty will discuss the relevant advances in techniques and the limitations of each modality. Lectures will provide a comprehensive state-of-the-art update of the clinical uses of various imaging modalities in the diagnosis, prognosis and management of common cardiovascular diseases. A clinical case-based format will be used to highlight practice dilemmas and key management strategies. Topics will include multiple imaging modalities and clinical issues in cardiovascular diseases. Appropriateness criteria will be emphasized throughout the individual audience/panel discussions. The audience response system will be used for each case and for the lectures will be used in a pre-test and post-test format.

Registration Fee is $799.00 for MD, DO, Ph.D., PharmD and $699.00 for Fellow in Training, RN, NP, PA.

6th Congress of the Asian Society of Cardiovascular Imaging (ASCI 2012)

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of ASCI 2012, we are pleased to introduce you to the annual event of the Asian Society of Cardiovascular Imaging in 2012. Thai Society of Cardiac Imaging together with The Heart Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage of H.M. the King and the Thai Society of Echocarodiography are organizing the 6th Congress of the Asian Society of Cardiovascular Imaging (ASCI 2012) which will be held on 7-9 June 2012 at Centara Grand at Central World, Bangkok.

ASCI 2012 will be the first annual ASCI congress to be held in Thailand following the previous successful events in South Korea, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong. ASCI congress has continued to be the platform for experts and professionals in the field of cardiovascular imaging to exchange knowledge and ideas. In 2012, the congress will be held under the theme "Imaging innovation for cardiovascular practice" and it is expected to have up to 500 participants from Asia and other parts of the world.
